Join local author Samantha Lucier as she reads her new book The Unlucky Lucky and leads some activities!

Lucky believes that he is the unluckiest cat in the world. He has tried every good luck charm he can think of and still he finds himself in silly mishap after mishap. The worst part, Friday the 13th is approaching and Lucky just knows all of the trouble he will be in if he goes to school. So he comes up with a plan to stay home to wait out the unlucky day. But with the help of his mom and positive thinking, Lucky perseveres and learns that luck is something you get to make for yourself!

Samantha Lucier is an elementary school teacher with a passion for writing. She currently resides in Massachusetts with her family and her own little "Lucky" named Binx. When she isn't teaching, you will find her with her family, making some kind of craft, or off on the next adventure.
