Colorful Candle Making for Kids!
Saturday, March 1410:30—11:30 AMWallace Community RoomLunenburg Public Library1023 Massachusets Ave., Lunenburg, MA, 01462

Join Gariné Arakelian from Kulina Folk Art to make a fun and colorful candle!
With no melting required, this workshop is designed tailored specifically for the little ones! It is a safe and enjoyable experience, free from hot wax and each participant will have the chance to craft their own vibrant candle using non-toxic, granulated colored wax. Through this creative activity, participants will have the opportunity to use their imaginations and layer the colored waxes, resulting in an abstract colorful candle. Once the soy wax has cooled, it will be safe for participants to take their unique creations home!
Even though there is no melted wax involved, safety is paramount, so we will take the time to discuss proper candle handling and burning techniques. Gariné will gently pour melted soy wax over the layers, securing the granules in place.
The container measures approximately 3” in diameter and 3.5” in height, with the finished candle weighing a net of 4.50 oz.
