Join us for a dive into the musical works of several classic American composers with live music at the Library! We are hosting Quint-Essential Winds, a quintet of orchestral instruments, as part of our monthly concert series.

Quint-Essential Winds debuted in 2008 bringing together five musicians with more than 150 years of collective study and performance spanning three continents. While changes in schedules and priorities have led to variations in the makeup of the group, commitment to quality performance and programming flexibility has endured. We maintain an extensive library and can play everything from a Bach Fugue to Basin Street Blues. The quintet has appeared at a variety of venues and in numerous communities in Maine and New Hampshire performing recitals and at wine tastings, weddings, dinners and Christmas parties.
