Have you ever wanted to try your hand at mixed-media art? Are you a seasoned artist who wants to incorporate different types of media into your paintings? Then this could be the workshop series for you! Sign up today for the Lunenburg Community Mixed-Media Art Workshop Series and Accompanying Exhibit at the Lunenburg Public Library! This free artmaking series is made possible in part by the Lunenburg Cultural Council and the Lunenburg Public Library.

During this workshop series participants will have the opportunity to learn more about mixed-media art including its history and notable artists and dive hands first into mixed-media art making. All materials are provided. Participants can work from their own photos, their imaginations, or from images provided by the instructor. Materials provided will be mixed-media paper, acrylic paint, oil pastels, ink, adhesive, paper images, fabric, string and more! Feel free to bring your own materials to incorporate into your work! Through instructor demonstrations and individual guidance on technique and tools learn to transform your passion for art to the next level.

Sign up for one, two, or all three workshops. Following the workshop series, there will be an instructor-curated exhibit of artworks created during class to be on display in the Wallace Community Room at the Lunenburg Public Library during April 2026.
