Teens: Make Your Own Homemade Pop-Tarts - Virtual Event

Thursday, March 244:00—5:15 PMZoom

Hey Tweens & Teens! Do you enjoy good food? Like to cook? Then join us as the Lunenburg Public Library hosts Food Explorers for a virtual baking class!

We will be making Lemon Blueberry Homemade Pop-Tarts! You’ll learn how to make pastry from scratch, a zesty filling and a sweet glaze. This class will be held over Zoom so you can cook along with us from your own kitchen! Make sure you have a rolling pin.

This program is open to Grades 5-12 (ages 11-18). Registration is required as space is limited (registration is by household, not by number of people participating!). List of needed ingredients will be provided closer to the event along with the Zoom meeting info. We recommend that there is adult supervision for this class as students will be using cooking utensils and a stove.

All Food Explorers instructors are Registered Dietitians, and have extensive knowledge of childhood nutrition.

Note: This is an online event via Zoom. An invite will be sent out at least one hour before the program to the email given at registration.

Registration for this event has now closed.
