Tree Planting At Lunenburg Public Library

An Earth Day Event

Please join us as we celebrate Earth Day by signing up to plant a native Tulip Poplar tree near the Children’s wing of the library. Tulip Poplar is a tall, fast-growing, long-living, deciduous tree that will provide cooling shade on the children’s wing during the summer months and allow the sun to shine on the library building during the winter months. We have three goals for this tree planting.

1.Shade our story-telling circle and patio.

2. Support Climate Resilience.

3. Support Biodiversity.

This program is coordinated in partnership with the Lunenburg Conservation & Park Commissions as part of their Earth Day celebration.
