Winter sowing is back at the Library!

Join us on for a hands-on workshop creating your winter sowing kits. Friend of the Library volunteer Robin Venezia will be leading this all ages session and walking us through how to put together your kit. 

This year we are planting seeds that are on the Massachusetts List of Endangered, Threatened, and Special Concern species that will thrive and are well-behaved in a garden setting. The list includes: Northern Blazingstar, Hairy Beardtongue, Wild Senna, and Upland Goldenrod. Participants will pick their plant during the workshop; seed supply will be limited.

Please bring a plastic gallon or half gallon milk or juice jug. We supply the remaining materials needed to complete the craft, all you need to do is register and attend!
